These rules have been put in place to ensure the welfare of the fish, the fishery and you the carp fishermen. The rules also help to protect the wildlife, plants and trees. Any violation of theses rules will result in you being asked to immediately leave the fishery.
Our rules have been carefully considered and are there for good reasons, so please observe them.
Allowed only at our discretion Trout/Halibut pellets
Carp sacks are not allowed
Use bags (plastic/general)/crates provided by each swim for
all your rubbish, including tea bags and cigarette ends
Use toilets provided, please do not use bushes, as this will not be tolerated
No removal of plants, trees or marginal vegetation, if there is
an obstruction hindering your fishing please let us know
Only fish from designated swims
Loud noise and excessive drinking of alcohol will not be tolerated.
Please have your landing net, unhooking mat and bucket of water ready before you start fishing.
Use plenty of water on the unhooking mat, especially on hot days, this prevent stress and burn damage to the fish
Each angler is limited to 3 rods only, and
under 16s are limited to 2 rods only
No lead core or braided mainline to be used
Safety rigs at all times (e.g. Lead must be able to break free
from line/clips) to prevent fish trailing leads
No fires
All mobile phone ring tones, radios, etc, to be kept to a low volume
Strictly no pets allowed on-site
